Happy Spring!
The birds are busy setting up territories and building their nests, while the colors of the season pop out and brighten. Join the Little Otters and Warren Playgroup at the Knoll Farm Friday May 22th at 10am as we create our own paint brushes from nature, make nests and explore through song, story and play.
Here are a few suggestions for being prepared:
1) Plan that your children will most likely get dirty and maybe even a little wet. An extra change of clothes or plastic bags/towels in the car will help.
2) Unless there is thunder/lightening the playgroup will run, so make sure to dress for the weather. The American Association of Pediatrics recommends dressing young children in one more layer than you would wear to be comfortable outside.
3) Pack a snack and bring water.
4) If you have new or non-walkers a jogging stroller or baby backpack can be helpful.
5) Please remember that Knoll Farm is a working farm with unforeseen hazards. Please stay with the playgroup, and keep your children safe and away from buildings and equipment.
The playgroups are generously supported by the Open Hearth Community Center, The Town of Warren and Knoll Farm. This is our last session at the Knoll Farm before we move to the Eaton land in Warren, so we hope to see you there!
