Speaker: Noah Perlut, Associate Professor of Environmental Studies, University of New England
Date: Thursday, May 21, 2015
Time: 6:30 PM-8:00 PM
Location: Richmond Free Library, Bridge St., Richmond, VT
Noah Perlut has studied grassland birds in the Champlain Valley for over a decade. Many grassland birds such as Bobolinks demonstrate remarkable site fidelity, returning to breed in fields not far from where they were born. Noah has discovered the "family" stories about these birds and their challenges to share with farmers and the general public. This educational process enhances the commitment of farmers and the general public to sustainable agriculture and sustainable birds alike.
This program is free and open to the public. Parking is available on site, and at the Volunteer Green or Depot Street (1 block away).
