Nancy Stone’s art studio will be open to the public this up-coming Saturday and Sunday, May 23rd & 24th from 10-5. As part of Vermont Crafts Council’s Open Studio Weekend, the treetop studio is filled with colorful, recently-completed paintings, block-prints and hand-made books. Come to just look and chat about her extensive exploration of media and techniques. Or, search for original art to give as gifts. Kids are welcome. Her work has been in many juried and solo shows and has won numerous awards.

Located at 294 Old Creamery Road, the studio is the only Williston site participating this year, but there are 31 other locations in Chittenden County…look for the yellow signs directing you to artists’ workspaces for this once-a-year opportunity.

The Vermont Craft Council’s Open Studio Weekend is a statewide celebration of the visual arts and creative process, fostering appreciation for the role that artists and craftspeople play in the vitality of Vermont’s communities and economy.
