The Town of Highgate is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Town Treasurer. The Town Treasurer plays a vital role in the management of finances of the Town and is responsible for maintaining the Town’s general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, grant funds, and property taxes as well as preparing routine financial reports. This is an elected position currently serving a three year term. All applicants must be residents of the Town of Highgate. This is a full-time position with benefits which includes health care, retirement, and paid time off per the Town’s personnel policy.
