Vermont author Barry Estabrook's investigation into the pork industry has been featured recently on Fresh Air, Science Friday, The Splendid Table, Vermont Edition, and with a New York Times editorial. His new book PIG TALES exposes both the dark side of meat production and some hopeful counter examples. He's speaking this Tuesday at 7pm at Bear Pond Books (77 Main Street, Montpelier). The talk is free and open to the public, and will include a question and answer session and book signing.
