Help Plan for the Future of Woodbury Village!
Please join us for the first workshop of the Woodbury Community Planning Process
When: Thursday May 21st at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Woodbury Town Hall
What: The Town of Woodbury, with funding from the Woodbury Foundation is kicking-off the process to create a plan for the future of the village, including the facility needs for the Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department. This community effort will cover a lot of ground. Topics include: Village Planning & Design, Fire Station Feasibility Study, Streetscape Design & Infrastructure Planning, Zoning, and Land Use, Economics, and Village Marketing and Vitality.
Why: We want to hear your thoughts and ideas about these topics and more.
Please come share your point of view, inform the planning and design process and help us brainstorm at this first community-wide workshop.

6:30PM Welcome and Introductions (Guy Rouelle)
6:45PM Village Planning: Issues and Opportunities
An introductory presentation by LandWorks (David Raphael)
7:15 Roundtable- “Village Impressions”
• Each participant is asked to provide a word or phrase that best captures their impressions or feelings about the village)
7:30 Short Sessions: What do we need to know? What do you need to know?
• Participants will mark-up/draw on/write down on maps, newsprint and photos ideas, insights, concerns and comments about:
1) Streetscape and village “look and feel”
2) Landscape, natural resources, and water
3) Business, infrastructure, village economy
(each of three groups to be facilitated by a committee member. 15 minutes with each topic)
