Wed., 5/20, 7:00 - 8:30 PM, at the Craftsbury Public Library, the CEC will be sponsoring a free Sustainable Energy Fair. There will be on hand informational resources and practitioners within the fields of Home Energy Efficiency and Conservation, and Renewable Energy.
Efficiency Vt. will have info on their incentives and consulting programs available for: Home Weatherization, Energy Star Construction, Domestic Hot Water Heat and Space Heating Heat Pumps, Solar Hot water, LED Lighting, Appliances, and more.
You will also be able to get info from Home Energy Auditors, Energy Star-Rated Contractors, a Net-Zero Passive House Contractor, Solar Electric Installers, a Spray Foam Installer, Geothermal and -Air-to-Air Heat Pump Installers, a Solar Hot Water Installer, Electric Car Owners, and Bio Fuel Retailers.
The Vermont State Employees Credit Union (VSECU) will also share their state-funded “Heat Saver” loan program, which makes extremely low, unsecured financing available to anyone who wants to invest in energy efficient projects and purchases such as Weatherization, Energy Star Construction, Solar Electricity, Solar Hot Water, and High Performance Oil, Propane, or Pellet heating systems. Learn how the financial savings on these energy-saving ventures will pay for the principal and the low interest.

For June the Energy Committee will be hosting Vermont Electric Coop who will be sharing info on VEC’s upcoming Community Solar Electric Net Metering offering. That info session will be Wed., 6/17, at 7:00 PM, at the Craftsbury Library.
