Camp Winneshewauka – A Quiet Spot in the Mountains – was a popular camp in Lunenburg Vermont during the 1920s along the shores of Neal Pond. Memories of a camper, captured in her scrapbook, will provide a personal look into the activities and structures of the camp along with other printed materials and historical accounts. History buffs will enjoy this peek into a very interesting part of Lunenburg history. The Town of Lunenburg Historical Society invites the public to this free program held at the Alden Balch Library, on Main Street in the center of town. The building is accessible and light refreshments will be served. FMI contact Chris at 892-892-6654 or events@lunenburghistoricalsociety.org
