Reminder:
We are scheduled to conduct the annual clean-up and maintenance of the trail system at Stone Meadow to ensure they are safe and ready for use. All are welcome to join us and pitch in - many hands make light work!
Meet at the Stone Meadow parking area on Waldo Lane this Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
We plan to rake the walking trails, clear brush and prune to widen trails as needed, address any damage from the winter storms, add trail blaze as needed, restore some of the damaged/missing tree identification signs, and identify potential future projects.
While we will have a number of tools to provide to volunteers, if you have your own please bring: work gloves, hand clippers/loppers, rakes, water to drink, and bug repellant.
