25th Medieval Fair & Bratwurst Fest

Past event
May 16, 2015

Good Shepherd Church on Route 15 in Jericho is celebrating year 25 of the Medieval Fair! One of the highlights has always been the Bratwurst Meal that includes homemade sauerkraut and potato salad and a beverage for $8. Vegetarian, gluten free and kid-friendly food, plus homemade soft pretzels are also for sale. Like days of old, there are games of chance and a chance to win at games; plus a quality Silent Auction featuring a handmade blanket chest by master woodcrafter Hans Jaensch, a Smuggs Bash Badge, a weekend at the Inn of the Isles on Isle la Motte, Exterior Detailing by Matt's Wash & Wax, a "Paint Party" Certificate, Jericho Cafe Gift Certificate, Weedeater's Super Electric Blower/Vac from Jerihill Home Center, a UVM Lane Series Pass and other valuable items. The former general tag sale has morphed into a specific Tag Sale of Women's Accessories - belts, bags, scarves and jewelry - some old and antique, some new, all new to you! Did we mention ongoing live music downstairs in the Tea Room (yummy desserts!) and also upstairs by Green Mountain Celts, Out O' the Blue and Two Bits & Friends? On the education front you can visit with live hawks & owls, watch the mighty blacksmith shaping iron, meet a couple of Castle Hounds (therapy dogs) and check out the craft sale and Fair Trade Coffee & Chocolate. Whew! Lots to see and do - free admission and parking. Handicap Accessible. A Mother's Nursing Room. Rain or Shine. From 11AM - 3 PM across from Clark's Truck Center on Route 15. Come to the Fair!!!
