NOTICE
Selectboard Town Plan Public Hearing

The Town of Proctor will be applying for State of Vermont Village Center Designation for the village core area. To accomplish this the Proctor Planning Commission has approved and forwarded proposed amendments to the 2013 Town Plan to the Selectboard for their consideration and approval. The amended plan adds “State of Vermont Village Center Designation” to several section of the current town plan (pages 5, 11, 16, 17, 20, 83 and 85). In keeping with recent legislation the amended plan also incorporates a new “Flood Resilience” section (pages 63 through 66) to the plan.

The Selectboard will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p, m, Thursday May 28, 2015 at the Proctor Free Library Community Room, 4 Main Street, Proctor, VT 05765 to present the proposed plan amendments and respond to questions and comments.

A draft copy of the amended plan and a future land use map showing the proposed village designation boundary is available at the Town Office, 45 Main Street, Proctor VT 05765.
