The Burlington Chamber Orchestra will be performing their last concert of the season this Saturday, May 16th.
Join us for The Burlington Chamber Orchestra’s Annual Celebration of Youth Concert which will feature Guest Conductor Yutaka Kono, Young Artist Competition winner David Bayard, and “Realm of Reflection” a work of student composer Saigelyn Green at St. Michael’s College McCarthy Arts Center at 7:30 pm.
The evening program will include W.A. Mozart Impresario Overture; Gabriel Faure’s Pavane; Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1; Saigelyn Green’s Realm of Reflection, and Glazunov’s Concerto in E-Flat for Saxophone and String Orchestra featuring David Bayard the 2015 Young Artist Competition Winner.
This concert is supported in part by a Challenge America grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, supporting the orchestra's Music for Minors program. The Young Artist Solo Competition and Young Composer program are elements of this program.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students and are on sale at www.flynntix.org or at the door.
