Come celebrate migratory birds with the Friends of Missisquoi NWR and the Missisquoi NWR this Saturday, May 16th!
The refuge staff and volunteers will be leading guided bird walks in the morning to count as many species of migratory birds using the refuge as we can. We will gather for lunch provided by the Friends of Missisquoi NWR. A short presentation about the mornings results will be followed by a speaker at 1 pm, Col. Jason Batchelder from Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department.
The refuge will also be hosting a local art show featuring area wildlife. Come visit the refuge, enjoy the many trails and learn about the diversity of migratory birds visiting Vermont!
Time: 7:30 am - 2 pm. Walks leave about 7:45 am.
