Friday, June 5 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Lovin’ Cup Café, Main St. (Route 15) Johnson, VT

Join The Center for America's First Horse and Tim Hayes, Natural Horsemanship clinician and author of the sensational new book RIDING HOME-The Power of Horses to Heal (St. Martin’s Press), for a book reception to benefit our children's programs.
Tim, a Johnson resident, will be reading select segments of his book and signing copies for guests. Books will be available for purchase along with raffle tickets for local merchandise. Hors d’eouvres and beverages will be served. All proceeds from this event will benefit The Center for America’s First Horse, Inc. Tickets to attend the book reception are $10.00 per person or $25.00 per family.

RIDING HOME – The Power of Horses to Heal is the first and only book to scientifically and experientially explain why horses have the extraordinary ability to emotionally transform the lives of thousands of men, women and children whether they are horse lovers, or those suffering from deep psychological wounds.

It is also a book for anyone who wants to experience the joy, wonder, self-awareness and peace of mind that comes from creating an interspecies horse/human relationship. And finally it puts forth and clarifies the principles of today’s Natural Horsemanship or what was once referred to as “Horse Whispering.”

In addition to the book reception, Tim will be conducting a natural horsemanship clinic on July 18th and 19th at The Center for America’s First Horse. Auditors are invited to watch the principles of RIDING HOME demonstrated live with horse and human participants.

To purchase tickets for the book signing and to preregister for auditing, contact Stephanie Lockhart at (802) 730-5400 or steph@centerforamericasfirsthorse.org. Tickets are also available on our website. To learn more about the book visit www.ridinghome.com.
