Hello neighbors! As a member of the Bella Voce Women’s Chorus I would like to invite you to attend one of our “Tapestry of Song” concerts coming up this weekend May 16 and 17.
Our “Tapestry of Song” concerts will weave together a variety of rich poetry written by William Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson, Lord Byron, and James Joyce with vibrant melodies and harmonies by Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn, Gabriel Faure and Eric Whitacre creating songs that touch the heart and ignite the mind. This concert will feature Eric Whitacre's haunting ballad “She Weeps Over Rahoon” and his stirring “Seal Lullaby.” Oboist Nadine Carpenter will be our guest artist.
There are two performances from which you can choose:
Saturday, May 16 at 8:00 pm
First Baptist Church,
81 St. Paul Street in Burlington
And
Sunday, May 17 at 3:00 pm
South Hero Congregational Church
24 South Street in South Hero
Tickets will be available at the door for $18 General Admission/$15 Seniors and Students. Advance tickets are available via FlynnTix.org.
