Gardeners and would-be gardeners are in for a delightful day on Saturday, May 30! Come to the Historical Society on the Green to shop for plant & garden items, sit in on free workshops, and meet the Gardening Guy, Henry Homeyer. You've read his column in the Rutland Herald and heard his commentaries on VPR; now come and hear his talk, "Eat from Your Garden Year 'Round."
Plant & Garden Sale: perennials, seedlings, vegetables starts, bulbs, houseplants, books, tools, pots, garden art, clothing, canning supplies--anything & everything related to gardening.
Gardening Experts: Free workshops will begin mid-morning; local & regional experts will share their knowledge and wisdom on a variety of food & garden topics.
Pizza & Ice Cream Cones: Gourmet homemade pizza by the slice and hand-scooped ice cream cones with sprinkles optional, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Yum!
Raffle Prizes: Gift certificates from Mr. Twitter's, S.E. Smith, and Garland's Agway, and gardening books donated by Garden Time.
