Come learn by making your own fermented vegetables! The workshop will be at the Four Corner School in East Montpelier on Sunday, May 17 from 3:00 to 5:00 with Lisa Mase. It is a healthy way to preserve food and to make many interesting additions to a meal. All you have to do is bring: a vegetable (cabbage, radishes, carrots, beets), a head of garlic, an inch of fresh ginger, 2 tablespoons salt , a quart mason jar and a wooden spoon.
