Hi, This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to teach participants how to deliver tennis to children ages 10 and under in our community(s)! I think this workshop will be of interest to parents, teachers, physical education teachers grandparents, retirees, and teenagers. You don't have to be a skilled tennis player to participate. Research shows that tennis supports academics, social connections and healthy lifestyles! I am the program coordinator of the Addison Community Athletics Foundation (ACAF), (a non-profit) and our mission is to promote healthy lifestyles (and tennis!). Tennis for kids can be a collaborative, fun, non-competive, rewarding social experience of great value that all kids (and adults) can participate in (no matter what your skill level) and we don't need a tennis court to engage in this activity, we can provide this in a variety of creative ways. We need volunteers to learn more and then participate in this great opportunity! I have lots of information that demonstrates how 10 and under tennis activities can enrich communities! Contact me for further information about this opportunity and how to sign up, (even if you cannot do the workshop and want to learn more contact me)! Thanks, Ken Schoen, Program Coordinator, ACAF phone # 802-349-8321, email kschoen@gmavt.net
