Our May Meeting will kick-off at 7.00 p.m. in the McClure Lobby Conference Room at UVM Medical Center, with an agenda that is somewhat "Housing", "Accommodation" and "Development" focused:
7.00 p.m.: Welcome and Introductions
7.05: City Council Updates from Selene Colburn, Sharon Bushor and Adam Roof.
7.20: Speak Out
7.35: "Fair Housing Project" Director, Ted Wimpey of CVOEO: The FHP is conducting a Statewide Fair Housing education project and Mr.Wimpey's presentation describes what constitutes housing discrimination and how communities can proactively seek to overcome it.
7.55: Champlain College: John Caulo, VP Campus Planning and Auxiliary Services, will provide a short resume of the College's Master Plan, specifically as it relates to Student Accommodation and future plans for the Ethan Allen Club.
8.30: Frank Von Turkovich will update us on the latest plans for his proposed "Fletcher Place" development and neighborhood engagement following the recent DRB Meeting on the subject.

PS: The CityWide NPA's are sponsoring a "Housing Summit" on Wednesday, May 20th, 7.00 p.m. in Contois Auditorium to discuss the pros and cons of The Mayor's Housing Plan. Share ideas about how to create communities of housing that preserve the uniqueness of Burlington's neighborhoods. Doors open 6.30 p.m., All are welcome.
