Come hear about and see photos from the Appalachian Trail hike of Janet Steinert on Wednesday, May 13 at 6:30 PM at the Jeudevine Memorial Library.
Facing retirement at 62, Janet “Slow N’ Steady” Steinert set out to complete the 2186 mile trek from Georgia to Maine. Her goal was to hike the entire Appalachian Trail. She completed the trail, but her goal changed as she traveled through her journey of a lifetime. Hear about her adventures, her challenges and her joys as she struggled to fulfill her dream of hiking the Appalachian Trail.
