Songwriting Workshop with Emily Mure – Saturday, May 16th from 10:00am – 3:00pm
Classically informed singer-songwriter, Emily Mure leads a songwriting workshop before performing live at Brandon Music. The workshop is open to musicians and writers of all levels. Emily will lead the group in the art of songwriting – gaining inspiration, how to approach writing a song, the parts of a song and more – and then engage the group in a shared songwriting experience and end the day with helpful feedback on participants’ own songs. $35. Register by May 14th.

Needlefelting with Muffy Kashkin Grollier – Sunday, May 17th from 10:00am – 3:00pm
Learn how to create a wool painting by needlefelting with Muffy Kashkin Grollier. Muffy will demonstrate the steps and techniques for creating a painting, from learning the variety of needles, the best kinds of wool to use, how to blend colors, using cookie cutters and patterns to get a more accurate rendering of subjects, and more. The class fee is $75 and is open to beginner and intermediate needlefelters. Register by Friday, May 15th.
