An Afternoon of Folk Music

On Sunday, May 17th at 2:00pm, Beth El Synagogue will present An Afternoon of Folk Music featuring singer, songwriter, guitarist and storyteller Hanita Blair from Syracuse, New York. Special guest, violinist Jason Bergman from Barnet, VT, who plays in the Northeast Kingdom Community Orchestra, teaches at St. Johnsbury Academy and performs extensively, will open for Ms. Blair.
This concert, to be held at the Riverside School Barn, 30 Lily Pond Road in Lyndonville, VT, is sponsored by the Ben and Rosalie Harris Community Fund and is in memory of Ben Harris. It will consist of traditional Anglo-Celtic and Appalachian ballads, music of the Renaissance, Jewish folk music and more. Refreshments will follow the concert.
