This Saturday, May 9, 8:00-11:00AM, RaceVermont.com will be hosting the Jared Jabaut Agency 5K/10K/ and Half Marathon. The 5K and 10K runners will use Harbor Rd and the Ty and Shelburne Rec.paths 8:00-9:20 AM. The Half Marathoners will use Harbor Rd, School St., Depot Rd, Harbor Rd and the Shelburne Rec. and Ty Paths 8:03-11:00AM. Shelburne Police will be stationed at Athletic Drive, School St., Depot Rd., and Bay Rd. Many thanks to the Town of Shelburne and the Shelburne Police!!
Race Day registration is available for all categories. The 5K is realtively flat. The 10K has a few rolls to it with great views of Lake Champlain. The Half Marathon is a combination of pavement and gravel paths and is rolling with great views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains of NY.
2-3 volunteer Road Marshals are needed 7:30-11:00. Volunteers receive a T-shirt, refreshments, a free race entry of same value within a year, and a volunteer raffle. Must have transportation and want to have fun :)
