Can you guide threads over thresholds?
Cradle to Grave Arts/Hannah Dennison is creating a dance/theatre project called Threads & Thresholds for the Kent Museum in Calais, June 18th to 21st.
An audience, limited to 20 people, will enter the installation every 45 minutes. Each group will be guided through the cycle of rooms. Threads and Thresholds lasts about 90 minutes.
Gentle Guides are sought for this very special project. We need 2-3 each day.
Anyone interested is encouraged to attend a one-hour orientation/training session. There are four sessions to choose from:
Friday, June 12th at 10:30am, work/run-through session
Saturday June 13th at 10:30am, work/run-through session
Tuesday June 16th at 1pm or
Wednesday June 17th at 3pm.
If you cannot arrange to be at one of these, and still want to volunteer to be a guide, we can figure out a solution. Please contact Kim at the number below.
Having completed the hour-long training, the guide will be actively guiding at one preview/dress rehearsal afternoon, either Tuesday June 16th from 2-6pm or Wednesday June 17th from 4-8pm for which there will be an audience. Finally, the guide signs up for one entire performance afternoon (1:30pm - 8pm) on any of the four presentation days June 18-21.
