Are you from Nepal or do you have Nepali friends or neighbors? "Vermont for Nepal", a Nepali and Bhutanese-led community effort organizing to provide earthquake relief, is exploring ways to provide DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE to survivors with community connections to families from South Asia living in Vermont. Individuals and families who have loved-ones affected by the recent earthquake wanting to get financial aid to those relatives are invited to share information about their families' needs to identify ways to DIRECTLY help these individuals. Information will be gathered this Sunday, May 10th, from 1-3 PM at the O'Brien Community Center's small meeting room. Bilingual speakers will be present.
