The 6thAnnual Carl Lufkin Memorial Garden Tractor Pull will be held on Saturday,July 11, 2015 at 9:30am. You can find us at #14Lufkin Way, Argyle, NY, 12809 (In the large field behind#10 Main Street). Spectatoradmission is $5/adult, children under 10 are free. We have one ofthe largest 4 Wheel Drive Truck, Garden Tractor and ATV Pulls in the area alongwith an Antique Truck & Tractor Show. There are classes for all vehiclesfrom the lawn mower or ATV in your shed to highly modified Garden Tractors andfrom the 4 wheel drive pickup in your driveway right up to custom Purpose-BuiltPulling Trucks and everything in between. We will have Team Pulling for theGarden Tractors where you and a friend can test your teamwork by pulling thesled with two tractors yoked together. Also there is free camping available! Even if you arenot competing, we will still have plenty for you to do. All day there will bedisplayed antique Farm Machinery and Tractors. There will be bounce houses forthe kids along with great food for the whole family served up all day long! Wewill also have a Farmers Market/Craft Fair/Flea Market area and there are stilllots of spaces available for booths. Our five yeartotal of monies donated to the fight against cancer is close to $80,000!!!! Thisis an event that has enjoyed steady growth over the last five years and this yearwe hope to grow this event even more! We think the addition of a second trackfor 4 wheel drive truck pulling will be a big help in this growth. Funds generatedwill be donated to The American Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital andThe Lufkin Legacy Foundation which provides scholarships for local High Schoolgraduates. Many of us knowpeople who have fought for their lives while some of us have experienced cancerourselves.
