An evening of tea-tasting and learning about China’s famous green teas will be presented by John Wetzel of Stone Leaf Tea in the program Spring Tea Travels to China on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Memorial Library in Bristol.

In this free program, Wetzel will share his passion and knowledge of the art of growing, He will show images of the tea lands of China he has explored in his ongoing search for the best quality green teas for his teahouse in Middlebury. He will also be providing tastings of fresh teas he has just brought back from his travels in Eastern China, where he visited small, family-run tea farms that have just harvested their premium spring crop.
