A few of us are going to be at the school this Saturday 9/7 to continue the work that Mike Wickenden and Dave Hobbs started last night which is clearing the overgrown brush that is beginning to infringe on the soccer field.
The Rec. Commission is funding and building 2 soccer shelters that will go along that side of the field. Thank you!
We thought we would start around 8:00 am but come when you can. If you have a chain saw, wood chipper, clippers please bring them. We would like to just chip the wood there and leave in the clearing.
Also, there is poison ivy so long pants, long sleeve shirt and gloves are a good idea.
We can also spread wood chips (the big pile in the parking lot) on the playground if there are enough people.
