All-4-One Announces 1st Annual Run Hard 5k Run/Walk Saturday May 30th
The All-4-One outside of school program is proud to announce the First Annual Run Hard 5K Run & Walk along the Toonerville Walking Trail in Springfield, Vermont on Saturday, May 30 at 9 am. All proceeds from the event will support the Run Hard character-based running program for students in Springfield.
Event Details:
Cost: $15 Pre-reg, $20 Day of (Race entry includes Run Hard water bottle and Run Hard sunglasses for all, and Turtle Fur hats for the first 20 to register!)
Timed 5K course along the Black River on the Toonerville Trail. Parking at the SRDC Parking Lot (290 Clinton St, Springfield VT). Race participants arrive to the parking lot before 8:30 am to be bused to race start at Hoyt’s Boat Landing. Participants run or walk along the Toonerville Trail to race finish at the SRDC parking lot. At race finish there will be food and activities for kids at the SDRC parking lot provided by Heritage Deli & Bakery, Black River Produce, Against the Grain Gourmet, the Craft Source, and more!
All race proceeds go toward the Run Hard program. Run Hard is an 8 week long character based running program for boys grades 2-5. Coaches lead students in running curriculum focused around character building themes, e.g. respect, teamwork, responsibility (similar to the Girls on the Run program offered to girls in the Springfield School District). At the end of the program the students will participate in the celebratory 5k run/walk.

We're also looking for volunteers to help out with set up and directing participants during the race and for local organizations or businesses interested in getting involved.
