The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 7 at 7:00PM (Town Office Building) for public comment on proposed changes to the Land Use and Development Regulations. The changes are posted on the Town web site (http://eastmontpeliervt.org/may-7-2015-planning-commission-public-hearing/ ). Significant proposed changes include:
• Major revisions to Flood Hazard Area regulations (Article 9) and the associated Map;
• Revisions to the Conservation Overlay District (Table 2.6) and Map
• Revised groundwater withdrawal permit threshold (Section 4.7);
• Provisions for Administrative Amendment (Section 5.2);
• Provisions for Conceptual Site Plan and Conditional Use Review (Sections 5.4 and 5.5);
• Revised procedures for Certificate of Compliance (Section 7.4).
