Imagine making music without a piano or drums or guitar or any instruments except for the human voice. On Thursday, May 7th at 7 PM, ten a cappella groups will endeavor to create an unforgettable evening of music using only their voices at Town Hall Theater for the United Way's first ever A Cappella competition. The friendly competition is called United in Harmony, and all proceeds go to fund UWAC's general fund to support programs in Addison County. At the end of the evening, one a cappella group will win $500 and the bragging rights for the year!

This years participants are from all over Vermont and one from New Hampshire. The roster includes The Middlebury Bobolinks, Bullseye Quartet, Green Mountain Chorus, The Honeymooners, Mansfield Four, Root 7, Sweet Beats, The Blue Skies Trio, Rhubabes, and Castleton State College Vocal Unrest.

The groups will be judged by local celebrities Alisa Endsley, Clint Bierman, and Justin Bouvier. Alisa Endsley had performed leading roles on Broadway and in London's West End. Clint Bierman is a composer, educator, and the lead singer and front-man for 'The Grift'. Justin Bouvier has many musical theater credits on his resume and is regularly seen in shows at Town Hall Theater. The evening will be hosted by local actress and singer Sarah Stone.
