2015 Fine Arts Festival at Mount Abraham

Every year we celebrate the artwork of our students by transforming the gym at Mount Abe into a colorful and glorious gallery. In the lobby and auditorium there are musical performances by students and community members and local artists’ demonstrations. Tuesday at 5:30 the gallery opens and our opening night performance will be a district-wide combined chorus of 5th, 6th,7th and 8th graders. The gallery hours are Tuesday 5:30-8:00, and Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 - 8:00.

*LCS families: On Wednesday-students need to arrive by 5:45 and ¾ students by 5:30 to rehearse on stage. Please let us know if you need help with transportation for your child. Call Deirdre in the school office: 453-2119

It is a great celebration and that takes a great deal of preparation and many helping hands. The more the merrier. So please mark your calendars, volunteer if you can, and, most importantly, plan to come to Mt. Abraham to enjoy the talent of our community and the amazing artwork of our children. It’s all free and everyone is welcome!
