Unleash your inner superhero by running in the Northern VT Ridge Runners & Green Mountain Kids 5th Annual SUPER HERO 5K FUN RUN & WALK on SUNDAY MAY 17, 2015 at 9:00 AM Rain or shine. Registration will take place from 8:00-8:45 AM at Green Mountain Kids located at 21 Munson Ave, next to Turning Heads Salon. The main purpose for this event is to promote having fun and getting fit, while supporting a great kids program that serves children ages 3-12 throughout Lamoille County. This is an opportunity to unite runners and walkers of every level, ability and interest, promoting friendship and camaraderie among the running community. The run/walk will be a 5K and for children who are participating, there will be a shorter loop around the Industrial Park. This is a Fun Run, which means that it’s not an official event. Participants are highly encouraged to dress up as their favorite super hero! Registration fee is $20.00 per adult and $7.00 for Children under 12. The first 25 adults & 25 children that register will be given a free T-shirt. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of outdoor equipment for Green Mountain Kids, helping to keep our kids active while having fun!

Immediately following the fun run there will be raffle drawing for a 2 night stay with breakfast included at the Stoweflake Resort in Stowe, Vermont an over $400.00 value. Raffle tickets are $5.00 a piece of 10 for $25.00. You may purchase tickets at Green Mountain Kids leading up the race or during the day of the event.

Green Mountain Kids is currently accepting enrollment applications for our summer adventure, preschool and Fall 2015 after school programs and also wants to invite members of the community in to see their facility, meet the staff and get to know our program.
