Heroes Living Among Us to be Honored
CANAAN
All around the area grandmothers and mothers tirelessly do what they do day in and day out rarely expecting to be thanked and noticed for all of their family and community leadership. At 5 & 6 pm On Saturday May 9th these women heroes will be special guests of honor at special occasion banquets to be held in Canaan at the Community Church Hall. This is a time for their families to recognize their important roles and also for our larger community to honor and thank these women.

The menu includes all the components of a traditional Thanksgiving meal (turkey, dressing, pumpkin etc).

Sons and daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren are asked to get on the phones now and invite their special "moms" out for her evening. Honorees will receive a special Award of Thanks. The honorees will be our guests and they will not charged for their gourmet meal. The meal for children is just $1 and all other adults without children are just $10.
