Kent State Presentation

Past event
May 4, 2015, 7 PM

On May 4, 1970, four students were killed and another 9 seriously injured during a protest at Kent State University. Since then, dozens of books, songs, plays and movies have been produced about the events. But 45 years later, there are still many unanswered questions about what happened at this historic event.

On May 4, 2015, Danby-Mt Tabor Now will host an eyewitness to the events who will discuss the events leading up to May 4 and the aftermath. All are invited to attend on Monday, May 4 at 7 pm at 10 South Main St in Danby (green building across from Nichols Store).

Danby-Mt Tabor Now is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to 1) building and maintaining a veterans' memorial to recognize wartime veterans from our towns and 2) provide programs and activities to inform, educate and create community connections. Visit our web site at dmtnow.org for more information.
