Clean Up Volunteer Opportunities May 2

Past event
May 2, 2015

Hi neighbors,

This Saturday, May 2nd, is Green Up Day and there are two great chances to clean up the ONE:

1) Neighborhood Clean Up - as part of Green Up Day, there will be bags, gloves, maps, and instructions available for anyone who would like to help pick up trash and litter and make the ONE look a little greener. Pick up is at the Sustainability Academy at Lawrence Barnes at 123 North Street between 9am and noon. More info on the city-wide Green Up effort is available here: http://www.burlingtonvt.gov/sites/default/files/u228/Green%20Up%20Day%205%202%2015.pdf .

2) Free Methodist Church Clean Up - if you'd like to participate in a more site specific project, the Free Methodist Church at 76 Elmwood Ave that was destroyed by a fire on January 15th is looking for people to lend a hand with clean up and with putting in a small flower garden where their sign used to be. They'll be starting at 10am and serving pizza and drinks at noon.

Best,

Laura Hale
