With Green Up Day approaching I just want to remind all volunteers to be safe, wear gloves and also be Tick Smart while outside.
-Avoid high grass and bushy areas as much as possible.
-Wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts
-Tuck your pants into your socks
-Wear light-colored clothing
-Check for ticks, and remove ticks promptly.
-Use effective tick repellents on skin or on your clothing.
