The Snow is Gone and the Trash is Visible!

Saturday, May 2 is Green Up Day.

As usual, Tinmouth will have a family-friendly festivity to clean the roadsides. We'll meet at 9:00 A.M. at the Tinmouth transfer station to get trash bags and get a road section to clean up. Then bring your full bags back to the transfer station at 11:00 and enjoy some free ice cream and prizes for youngsters. We should wind up by 11;30 , noon at the latest. Dress for the weather with long sleeves and pants to avoid ticks. Organizers will provide latex gloves, hand cleaner and trash bags. Please join us for this fun-oriented community service event.

If you can't make this event, stop by the Town Office to get bags and sign up for a section of road. Our goal is to cover all the roads in town. We have met our goal most years in the past - let's keep it up.

For more information, call Doug Fontein at 446-2928.

Brought to you by your Green Up Committee (Doug Fontein, Nelson Jaquay and Ed Hasenohr)
