CSWD's Rover in Hinesburg for Hazardous Waste Collection Aug. 10

The Chittenden Solid Waste District's household hazardous waste collection "Rover" is making a stop at CSWD's Hinesburg Drop-Off Center (907 Beecher Hill Rd.) Saturday, August 10, 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

NOTE: The Rover is free and available to Chittenden County households only.

The Rover makes a stop in each town in Chittenden County once a year and accepts household hazardous leftovers such as paints and stains, automotive fluids, hobby supplies, pesticides, fertilizers, household cleaners, beauty supplies, and anything with the words "Danger," "Caution," "Warning," or "Poison" on the label. The next few stops for the Rover will be:
August 17: Shelburne Highway Garage 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
August 24: Winooski's Landry Park, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
August 31: CSWD's Burlington Drop-Off Center, 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Can't make it to the Rover? If you are a Chittenden County household, bring it to the Environmental Depot. It's open year-round and it's free! Environmental Depot, 1011 Airport Parkway, South Burlington. Wednesday-Friday 8-2; Saturday 8-3:30.

The Environmental Depot is available only to Chittenden County residents (free) and businesses (some fees apply).
