Cambridge Trail Head Project Seeks Public Input May 5

Past event
May 5, 2015, 6 to 7 PM

The public is invited to a meeting on Tuesday, May 5, at 6 PM at the Varnum Library, 194 Main Street in Jeffersonville, to discuss the design of the Cambridge Trail Head to be constructed as part of the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail project. The proposed features for the Cambridge Junction site off TH 23 and TH 24 just north of VT 15, where the finished rail trail section currently terminates, will be presented for comment by the local community.
This trail head will be developed in phases with the initial focus on parking and signage utilizing funding from the Northern Borders Regional Commission acquired by the Lamoille County Planning Commission. Overall plans to include additional features in later phases will be described, asking for input from the public on the design. Information on the Friends of the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail will be available, along with sign-up sheets to help as volunteers in developing this valuable community resource. The meeting will begin promptly at 6 PM since the library will close at 7 PM. For more information, email wmckone@stoweaccess.com or call 644-2433.
