For those who live in the Colchester half of the fort, Colchester's Green-up Day activities will also be this Saturday, May 2.

My fellow Conservation Commission members and I will be handing out bags and coordinating volunteers at the Colchester Police Station from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 pm and our thank-you BBQ will start at noon.

If anyone would like to pick up their bags a little closer to home, I have a supply here and would be happy to distribute them to Colchester volunteers any time prior to Saturday. Please send me an e-mail and we can make the arrangements.
