Event: Festival of Fidos and Lacey's Fund Fun Run/Walk

The fourth annual Festival of Fidos will be held at Basin Harbor Club on May, 16th 2015. Festival of Fidos is a daylong event devoted to our best friends, with demonstrations, vendors, workshops, 5K run/3K walk, family activities, food and fun! At least 50% of all proceeds will go toward Lacey’s Fund.
Lacey's Fund was established six years ago specifically to benefit retired police dogs of the Vermont Canine Police Association. Upon retirement, these dogs often suffer from ailments resulting in medical expenses that their handlers simply cannot afford. The goal of Lacey's Fund is to assist handlers with the resources needed to enable these retired police dogs to live out the remainder of their days in good health which is the very least we can do in recognition of their contribution to our communities.
