Mayfest is one of our family’s favorite events of the year. For anyone with young children looking for something to do this weekend, come and have a wonderful time together. Mayfest takes place this Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Lake Champlain Waldorf School on Turtle Lane in Shelburne. You won't want to miss this outdoor celebration and beloved event for local families with children ages six and under.
Festivities include live music, maypole dancing, garland crown making, face painting, pony rides (available for a nominal fee), and more. Bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic, or purchase kid-friendly, organic lunches and treats.
In addition to the Mayfest activities, you are invited to explore the Lake Champlain Waldorf School’s classrooms, forests, gardens, fields and playgrounds and learn about our Early Childhood programs (from birth to 6!)
