Mayfest is one of our family’s favorite events of the year. For anyone with young children looking for something to do this weekend, I highly recommend you check it out. Mayfest will take place Saturday, May 2, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. This outdoor celebration is a beloved event for local families with children ages six and under. Festivities include live music, maypole dancing, garland crown making, face painting, pony rides (available for a nominal fee), and more. Families are invited to bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic, or purchase kid-friendly, organic lunches and treats. In additional to the Mayfest activities, you are invited to explore the Lake Champlain Waldorf School’s classrooms, forests, gardens, fields and playgrounds.
