We cannot wait to welcome best-selling author, Jeffrey Lent, to the Flying Pig on April 30th at 6:30. This is Jeffrey Lent's first visit to the Flying Pig, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Perhaps best known for his New York Times bestseller, *In the Fall*, Jeffrey Lent returns with another stunning historical fiction book, *A Slant of Light is *set at the end of the Civil War when a soldier returns home to his upstate New York farm after being away for four years. Part mystery, part love story, part immersion into the arduous life of farmers in 1864, this book had me rapt from the first page till the last.
