This Wednesday April 29th Arvin A. Brown Library brings Cailey's Closet to Richford. This event is organized the the Highgate Public Library and will travel around Franklin County. Next stop Richford Junior/Senior High School in the Library from 4 - 7 PM. This program collects donated gently worn prom and formal dresses from generous folks around the county and recycles them by offering them to girls needing a prom dress for free!
Some rules:
NO dresses will be handed out prior to this event (or before 4 PM). Those attending the event will not have access to the dresses until this time).
* If you are unable to make it on 4/29, The dresses will be on display at Arvin A. Brown Public Library on Friday and Saturday (May 1 and 2). You may stop in anytime during library hours to check out the remaining dresses.
They will then be moved to the Bent Northrop Memorial Library in Fairfield.
* All those attending the event are asked to sign in.
* Only one dress per girl is allowed.
* Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the event with their daughter.
* This event is on a first come first serve basis. Dresses will not be held or reserved for anyone. We also do not guarantee that every girl will find that perfect dress. We only have available what has been donated from the local community during our dress drive.
* Our intention is to make this a fun filled event for local youth. This is our first year trying this and are doing our best to make this program run smoothly. It may not be the perfect setup, but we hope that you enjoy yourself while you are here!
