On Monday, April 27th, at 6pm there will be a FREE screening of "The Hunting Ground" (http://www.thehuntinggroundfilm.com/) in Dole Auditorium on the Norwich Campus. With the end of the year coming up, I'm sure some of you parents have seniors who are looking to head to college in the fall. Sexual violence will affect 1 in 5 women who attend college. As I'm sure you know, this has been a very big deal in the media lately. "The Hunting Ground" is a new documentary that recently came out, which talks about campus sexual violence and reporting. It's been reviewed widely as a "must-see" for anyone going into college, as well as anyone with kids heading to college. (Please be aware that the film will cover sensitive topics, and may be triggering to some audiences.) With April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month, I've been working very hard to get a screening available near our community. Please be sure to take advantage of this opportunity!
