Rug Hooking for Beginners at the Library...Openings Still Available!
Learn the basics of traditional rug hooking from start to finish at the Lanpher Library, Four Wednesdays April 20-May 20th 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Traditional Rug Hooking is when woven wool fabric, cut into narrow strips is pulled into loops with a hood through a woven linen foundation. Using colors of your choice, you outline and fill in the shapes to make your hooked rug.

There is a charge for materials and tools: Rug hooks $10, Embroidery hoops $5. Patterns $5-$30. Wool fabric as needed for your pattern, approximately $5 and up.
