CITY OF VERGENNES
PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL HEARING

Pursuant to 17 V.S.A. §2680, the qualified voters of the City of Vergennes are hereby warned and notified that a Public Informational Hearing will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. at the Vergennes Fire Station located at 50 Green Street. The object and purpose of this hearing is to discuss and answer questions regarding the proposed amendment to the lease dated November 6, 2003 between the City of Vergennes and Friends of Vergennes Opera House, Inc. The amendment, if approved by the voters, will include the so-called “ticket booth” as part of the leased premises. The article as it will appear on the City ballot is as follows:

Shall the voters authorize the City Council to amend the lease between the City of Vergennes and Friends of Vergennes Opera House, Inc. dated November 6, 2003 to include the so-called “ticket booth” as part of the leased premises?

The above article will be voted by Australian ballot on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the Vergennes Fire Station located at 50 Green Street. Polls will open at 9:00 a.m. and will close at 7:00 p.m.
