The Onion River Race and Ramble is an easy (downhill) 10 mile float/paddle on the Winooski River (our "other waterfront") on June 6th, from the foot of Bolton dam to the Richmond Bridge. You can race or you can ramble, and this year there is a Community Teams category for any four-person team, using any combination of watercraft. Parents with kids welcome to join the fun, too. A great lunch served by the Richmond Grange at the finish. Sponsored by the Friends of the Winooski River, to support watershed maintenance and improvement.
